A leadership coach was planning to launch a major programme about 6 months from when she first approached me. The programme was to be an online group academy for female leaders, combined with mentoring opportunities and one-on-one sessions.

The coach wanted to transmit the premium feel to her programme, so the landing page had to reflect the exclusivity of the offer as well.

The landing page had to have Paypal integration so that the leads could complete their registration by providing payment. Various options of payment had to be provided (total sum or payment schedule instalments).

The client also requested a countdown timer on the landing page.

I was provided with the branding elements (colours, fonts, high-quality photography) and with some elementary text to put on the landing page.

We used Leadpages to create the landing page.

I connected it to the client’s WordPress website via a connector plugin.

The landing page featured images, text, client testimonials, countdown timer and several call-to-action buttons (with varying text on them).

In client’s name, I created a business Paypal account, set up two kinds of Paypal buttons -one for the total payment and one for the option of paying in instalments- and incorporated them into the Leadpage.

I also created an email sequence in the email marketing tool that my client was using: there was a welcome email triggered by the payment and sent registration form, and another message providing a programme participant with an onboarding ebook/workbook.

I designed a beautiful onboarding workbook in iBooks Author and converted it to a fillable pdf format in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

As the campaign for the group programme registration was launched, I gathered relevant analytics from the Leadpages in-build analytics tool, Google Analytics and native analytics in Direct Mail for Mac to inform my client of the progress.
